This group was 1st used as a repository for patterns - tutorials were slowly added.
With the new seamless updates, it's now impossible to keep up - I'll still use this repository, but only to sometimes add patterns I find specially nice

wow? you're doing so much!I know it's crazy but I thought that if I save my search results each time I search for a specific kind of pattern, I'd save myself a lot of time!
All this, the way I classify, is quit personal, hope it can be useful to others...
(Please feel free to add from my stuff on Sylke's mad creations whatever you find useful to make this as complete as possible. It's much, much better than my tiny list. If you should do that, let me know and I'll actually remove my list and point to this one instead - as it's so much better! And please don't worry about saying anything like 'this is from Sylke', I'm not too bothered as long as we have a complete list! :) )
For now I add them as I cross them... But yes, I eventually will .
Thanks for your support! =)
What I do is for the first one create b/w version and name it the name of the pattern and then I tag it with liddle_r or liddle_rPattern.
So for most of my patterns (the very first being the exception) you can do a browse all patterns (if you've found one you like) and then view them by date and find the first one created. That will say the name on it.
Yes, the 'hidden version id the very first one you save - the one that doesn't show in the 'browse patterns' page
Many use the tag template which enables to easily follow new patterns - would be great if we all did it.
The problem is, some seem to tag all their palette template... so a complicated tag that nobody else uses would be best... well, I already got difficulty passing this around so...
Whatever: better tag too much than not enough - you won't regret too much..(through of course, don't tag 'tree' if there's no tree - that would be abusing)
Really: tags for shape, style, object... EVERYTHING (eg: Keith Harning, Dadaism, Square, Squares... plural AND singular because search is not very powerful here)
This, specially for the hidden version as it's from colour palettes that we want to access them. I just copy past tags and title from the hidden to the B&W version, I have a multiple clipboards.
I'm very thankful that you take it seriously =)
The level has recently gone up that I can't follow!
Where can I find all of the "Spirograph"-type patterns?
I love this index! You mean those like ambu make?
Where can I find all of the "Spirograph"-type patterns?
There's a page of ambu patterns here
Maybe also wire flower patterns
Though there's so many great patterns now I have difficulty keeping up!
For example, a page for pink, red, orange, black, white, blue, green, etc.
Also a page for black & white (NO color) and black & white + 1 color.
I already made a page for rainbow patterns, where the rule is you have to have at least 1 color from pink/red, 1 from yellow/orange, 1 from blue/purple, and one from green/blue-green. Or something... 2-3 different warm colors plus 2-3 different cool colors would suffice. The 5th color could be black, white, or gray if wanted (or just stick to 4 colors).
A neon page and a pastel page too.
