If you have created a seamless pattern you want to keep track of, this is the place for you. This is not for patterns by other people, so please do not keep them here.
I hope to provide a convenient way so that you might retrieve a copy of that pattern you worked so hard on. And use it again and again. And also show off multiple versions of your work to the group.

Update: Following Praxicalidocious I've created default grey versions of all the patterns I found worth the effort and named those Sylke.xxx with xxx standing for a numerical value. All of my patterns can thus be found easily, for example using Project Cuttlefish!
As far as I understand patterns have been searchable by name of creator for several days now (updated 10 March), that makes things easier.
For anyone who has forgotten a seamless pattern template name - and I am sure there are quite a number of people who have never noted them down and wished they did - I was able to find all of mine with a little work-around!
I went back into seamless, put one shape into the pattern field and then clicked on Save. On the new screen, don't fill in a pattern template name. Instead click into the name field and then use the down arrow: under normal circumstances you should see all the names you've ever typed in in a scrollable drop-down. If you don't remember what goes with what, go to the pattern maker in another browser tab and search for the name. You should now be able to find the pattern template that goes with the name! (Don't forget to NOT save the new pattern template...)
Oh yes, lesson learned: from now on I will always name my first edition of a new seamless pattern by the pattern template name, and I'll also tag all my new pattern templates with my name.
In addition to this, I went back into the very first edition of any pattern I've done and actually added the template name to the description field. I also added it to some editions that people liked a lot. So if somebody is interested in doing one of those they might come across this hint. I'll also add the template names to newer versions going forward.

Something went wrong with this pattern, when colouring it there are some orderly ziggy zaggy lines, but after saving they are all mangled.
