Yes, but I was thinking more Star Wars, less Harry Potter. You can't be seen in the Potter cloak. In Star Wars, you are seen, but the Jedi mind trick can make others think they aren't seeing you.

So you go to a party draped head to toe in this tartan, but because it's such a humdrum pattern, people CHOOSE not to see you. Another partier, wearing the Potter cloak, WON'T be seen, but they'll have a hard time trying to pick up an hors d'oeuvre.
