Hi COLOURlovers Everywhere! I'd like to first say a little Extra Special Something about COLOURlovers.com ... So Far ...It's been "ONE ARTISTICALLY AND WONDERFULLY COULOURFULLY GREAT EXPERIENCE, one that I hope will never end, but always continue to get only BETTER as time goes on! I'm slowly learning all the marvelous things that this fantastic site has to offer that will and does help to bring out all the playful and artful genius that lies deep within each and every one of us! I keep saying to myself ... "I can't possibly do THAT!" ... and think that I'm really and totally a little bit out of my league here (correction .. I'm a WHOLE LOT OUT OF MY LEAGUE HERE), because I see so many wonderfully and artistically talented people and what they do and it's all so AMAZING but also encouraging to me! I suppose though, that I'm quite unique in my own special kind of way, and while I can't please all the people all of the time ... I know I can certainly please some of the people some of the time and that's a COLOURLoving GOOD KIND OF THING TO DO!

So now, Let Me THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO HAVE ENCOURAGED ME, FOLLOWED ME, LOVED AND FAVED ME, USED MY PALETTES, PATTERNS & TEMPLATES AND MIGHT HAVE BEEN INSPIRED BY THEM & MADE SOMETHING SPECIAL OF YOUR VERY OWN BECAUSE OF THEM!!! Thank You One and All ... And please, if I take a while before I send you a Love Note, or don't send one at all (I am middle age and have a tendency to forget things sometimes), please don't be upset, and do accept this as my DEEPEST AND MOST HUMBLE APOLOGY FOR BEING SO NEGLIGENT, and maybe find it in your COLOURloving GOOD HEARTS to forgive me ... There are so very many of you that I'm bound to mess up somewhere at some point in time so Thank You AGAIN & Please keep FOREVER EVER-LOVING COLOURLoving AND CREATING ALONG ... because we're all in for one heck of a Colour-ishiously Art-Filled FANTASTIC RIDE!!!

Now, for all that other sticky-icky boring personal, "It's All About ME" junky kind of stuff ... ...

First .. ..
I'm originally from the great "Oh-So-Cold-In-The-Winter" North & grew up during the 50's-Early 70's era which though it had its issues and problems of the day, it was a much milder, calmer, friendlier happier time to grow up in ... Family, Friends and Neighbors all knew and socialized together and helped one another ... We were and still are ... much more respectful and grounded in morals and ethics and were hard workers. We did have a few exceptions but they were few and far between. I'm glad that I grew up when I did, though sometimes I think I should have been born in the 40's ... there are a lot of things from the 40's and even the 20's and 30's that I like too!

Secondly .. ..
I am married (but that's a whole different story of a more obtuse color, size and shape and meant for a different time and venue)! We moved to where the Sun Shines better & longer, and I love it! I also deeply Love All-Mighty God & His Son and am not afraid nor ashamed of speaking about them. I am and LOVE being a Mom (though my 7 kids might not like that as much)! I Love even more being a Grandma! I also Love reading and talking about the Bible and just talking in general. I am re-enjoying Reading & I love to Write, especially stories & poems & have held a lifelong hope and dream of becoming a "Published Author", I also Love cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, flowers, veggies, fruits, Oldies Music & Movies, I Love laughing & making others laugh!

And Finally .. ..

I do so love .. ..

Milky Ways and Butterfingers,
Hershey's Kisses, and Rainbow Wishes,
Tootsie Rolls and Donut Holes,
And everywhere that Butterflies go!

I love Puppy Dogs and Kitty Cats,
Fireflies and this and that!
I love Star-Lit Nights but most of all ...
I do so love .. when YOU come to call ...

And That's Me in a nutshell folks (literally, in a nutshell) ... and on this here site, I'm known as .. Ms .. CandiLanderColourHue ... Yeah, I know, the Admin Powers that be .. they went and left the "s"es off of Landers and Hues .. but, I always sign with .. CandiLandersColourHues .. I keep trying to get them to fix it .. eventually, I suppose, sometime in the distant future .. they just might get it right!!!!!
