Love this one more than I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Importing seems a problem to many
I know that I sometimes opened the files in notepad as text to copy paste Seamless's file headers.
SVG is like geometry written in text - if you open a file and look at the code, you'll understand.

There's some forum threads discussing SS - and I also made a page and copied some of your old instructions (mostly removed cause out dated).
I put things I heard about SS there - Everybody is welcome to contribute - more than welcome!

=)

PS: I haven't tried the new SS yet.. in fact I've barely made any patterns since a long time - (all my template are written 'Lite')

Thanks so much, everyone! :)
Thanks for noticing. :)

When I realized I could open my old patterns and extract the bits and pieces as .svgs, it made me very happy. :) ...I'm still having some trouble with imports though; I've found that even if I make a shape in illustrator, i have to save it as .ai, open that in photoshop, convert to paths and copy back to illustrator in order to save to a .svg that SS will recognize.

...It has a bit of a damping effect on the creative process. ^^;

(Also, I am amazed and baffled by the gradients that some people seem to have created in inkscape; I've no idea how they successfully import them to SS. But life needs these little mysteries, so it's all good.
Thanks so much, everyone! :)
