Okay! I plan on going back through all of my templates that I've created and make a generic black/white file. I've already started doing this with the more recent ones.

That's good to let poeple love the pattern - only w/o the colours and to be able to list one example of each of your pattern easily.
But I bet you don't remember the name you gave to the hidden version... or?
It's all the information on the hidden version that's used for the pattern search engine here
The goal in all this tagging is to be able to - for example - search for 'car' and have all patterns with cars show up... (or search Art deco, baroque, circles, textile...)
Wouldn't that be great?
That's why I was talking about your future patterns...
