Wow, thanks so much to COLOURlovers and Squarespace for selecting my entry Cherry Topping in the website competition - it was a wonderful surprise to see my entry under First Place! I feel very humbled to have been selected from the large number of great submissions. Well done everyone and congratulations also to the other winners.

A bit about me:

I've long been interested in typography, print and design, document layout and production processes, photography, and software. I've been lucky enough to have worked in many of those fields at various times (sometimes at the same time!) and I've gained some valuable experience over the last 20 years or so.

My favourite periods in history for fashion, textiles, design and architecture are the 1920s and 1950-70s.

(Oh, and, yes I do have a mad obsession with cherries, my favourite fruit. They are unsurpassed in colour and flavour and if something has cherries in it, I can almost guarantee I'll like it.)
