Dear friends

I am so very SORRY if I missed/miss thanking any Colour Lover friends. My browser sometimes crashes, I get busy with volunteer animal causes especially endangered species, with voluntary special needs teaching or even enjoying myself on holiday! I read all my CL Inbox notifications and Love Notes but this is just for those in which I failed to give personal thanks:

This is such a fun and brilliant site with exceptionally lovely and talented people and to think I stumbled across it quite randomly. CL has become a part of life which I miss terribly when I am away for a while.

I also love PATTERNS whether natural or man-made.

I am very interested in art, photography, music and architecture. I LOVE CATS and try to promote animal welfare groups in general.

I used to paint and draw on a purely amateur basis and especially liked pen and ink abstract drawing. I have, however, concentrated on playing saxophone in a local band and orchestra for many years now. I also play flute and clarinet. Since retiring as a special needs teacher I have played lots more badminton and racket ball, go to the gym and keep fit. Creative Art work had been sidelined which is why it is so exciting to have found COLOURlovers!

I collect paperweights, small worlds of colour.

I can find a few colour tones difficult to decipher..........................
