I take the opportunity to dedicate it to Sophia Loren, in occasion of her birthday.
Sophia Loren, born Sofia Villani Scicolone, 20 September 1934 is an Italian actress.
I have nothing to add, because I'm nobody to write here the biography in synthesis of Sophia, her incredible life doesn't need to be mentioned here I think, the same for the career, so I just wanna say thank you to all my followers and all the colour lovers, thanks!!
René Lacoste (Paris, July 2, 1904 - Saint-Jean-de-Luz, October 12, 1996)
To celebrate my 500+ great fol-lov(v)ers I've created this palette,
which is a homage to Renè Lacoste, on the occasion
of the anniversary of the birth of the famous tennis player, stylist, innovator and businessman. Considered the most ingenious tennis player ever,
he was fascinated from tennis at the age of 15: he was not a powerful player and not even a fast one but the meticulous 6-hours training sessions helped him so much to get extremely precise shots,
both forehand and backhand; to these he had added a very fine preparation on tactics and every opponent. He won 2 Wimbledon
(1925, 1928, 3 roland Garros (1925, 1927 and 1929) and 2 edition
of the US Open (1926, 1928). Then he started a non-less brilliant business career, using his nickname, "the crocodile",
and his own logo of the animal, which become a famous brand very soon.
He also invented the first metal made racket and he was
the author of the book "Lacoste on Tennis",
a manual that has been fundamental for many many years.
to Saint-Jean-de-Luz in 1967,
where he led his company until his last days.
Monday, May 9, 2011:
German-born photographer Gunter Sachs,
best known for his playboy lifestyle and brief marriage
to French actress Brigitte Bardot,
has committed suicide. He was 78.
"The last playboy" died in a chalet, in Gstaad, Switzerland
one of the best loved jet-set localities.
He was born on November 14, 1932: artist, photographer, playboy, movie director,
mathematician, student of astrology and entrepreneur, he married Bridgitte Bardot
in Las Vegas in 1966: their honeymoon is legend, but the wedding only lasted three years.
Open spirit, He launched fashions and trends, the "inventor" of Saint Tropez
also introduced white pants, blue and white striped shirt,
open neck and no tie as well as bare feet with moccasins.
He defined himself as an artist in love with life and women.
