Thank you for the kind feedback, Carolhue! Like any good bird lover, I drew on knowledge "from the field" - both looking at perched magpies in the park near my house, as well as a few internet pics. I felt the distinctive pattern of their coloring could make a reasonable shape, but I still wanted it to look semi-realistic.

The magpie's got a important supporting role in my tiger vs. magpie pattern:
Good_Luck_Ahead
which is a Korean tradition, but I'm sketching out a couple of pattern ideas that will feature him as a star!

That makes him feel much better. :) Let's just say he's sitting in an invisible tree right now...
Thank you for your kind remarks. Even though he's little, it took a surprising amount of manipulation to make him "flow" using Seamless Lite!
