The saying "go big or go home" does not make sense!
Aren't you going to go home at some point whether you go big or not?
Imagine an athlete saying in the post game interview "during that crucial play in the game I chose to go big, so I guess from now on I'll be sleeping on the coach's couch since I made that choice and can't go home."
Or does "going big" actually mean you have sold your home or given up the lease on your apartment, and you are actually not going home? To paraphrase the saying might be "sell your home or don't sell your home" But then, you'd still be going home (eventually)....it would just be a new or different home.
Let's just change it to "go big then go home" Okay?
