Though we've all heard some "unique" children's names, most notably from Hollywood, I couldn't help wondering why would they ever name a kid Purse-phone despite their very young, impressionable age. I made my mother say that name over at least a dozen times - I mean, really... p u r s e p h o n e, as in "mobile" phone that fits in a purse???
You can probably imagine how hard I laughed when I found out they'd named their daughter Persephone. Telling my mom how to pronounce it correctly required a change of pants!
