Today (May 5th) was a big day for me. It marked sixteen years since the day I heard the two words that would change my life forever: It's cancer.
Sixteen years of surviving what was supposed to have been terminal cancer. SIXTEEN YEARS! It was a hard day, with memories coming to the surface that I'd rather not have had. But it was an amazing day... With memories I almost wasn't alive to get to have.
I'm so grateful for this gift of life. That's the biggest understatement I could possibly make! At the risk of it sounding like an acceptance speech of some sort (haha), I'd like to say THANK YOU!!! to the people who kept me here with their love, prayers, and support! And even more, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, for getting me through it and giving me another chance. ♥
