Thanks so much:):) The pattern just kind of morphed into what it is. I never plan anything, just go with my emotion at the time. I'm really glad you like it!
I'm new to ColourLovers and am finding it is mildly addicting, but so much fun and inspiring. You're a wonderful artist and I look forward to looking at more of your patterns. Stay warm there in Washington State....I'll try to do the same here:)

Cozy sweaters and thick quilts! And I just finished another mug of hot chocolate. That's my winter secret! :D

Welcome to ColourLovers! I've learned so much since coming here, and it IS fun! You're off to a great start! I create my patterns the same way you do - no plans, just emotion. The template determines so much for me. I've tried to work with premade color palettes - even my own color palettes - and I'm rarely happy with the results! Because every template, and really every individual pattern, has its own personality. Perhaps it's a bit fanciful, but I feel like it's my job to find that personality and bring it to life. :)

Thank you so much for the love & fave of "Frozen Flowers":) The name seemed fitting given how cold it is here in Minnesota right now!

Same here in Washington State! Good thing I love winter. :) These flowers really do look like they were caught in a pond that froze over, and they're sitting just beneath crusty ice-like glass. It's perfect... the colors and the name, both!

Wow! And a great title to go with it!
