Once a caterpillar... not necessarily always a caterpillar - doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Speaking of having a ring to it, these colour names are making me sing "you're once, twice, three times a caterpillar". Speaking of names, I googled "actias luna" and learnt all about the Luna Moth (it's not something we have here). The point to my ramble is that your pattern is both lovely and educational, a triumph of RC genius:)
