All that required is to use the color but there are other optional things you can do:
> Add the IFRC tag - so this may show up in the group highlights and on my page - to this and any pattern using the RC color (see screenshot) - because tags enable to search RC palettes
> Add the IFRC badge, you can find a link to the badge code in the comments of the day's color page (This badge contains all the important links you may need - eg: Clicking on date leads to the group page)
> Post the palette badge to the group page here
