I'm a slightly over-the-hill, aspiring children's book illustrator currently living in Bloomington, Indiana. I have illustrated one middle-grade book (Secrets of the Magic Ring by Karen McQuestion) and 4 stories for FarFaria's iPad storybook app. I love vintage things and have a large collection of children's picture books. My artistic style has been influenced by many artists, most of them children’s book illustrators: Garth Williams, Richard Scarry, David Small, Eric Blegvad, William Steig, Maurice Sendak, Edward Ardizzone, John Schoenherr, and Gustav Tenggren.
