A trained RN by university education, who has recently been sidelined by a medical issue. I am venturing into the creative arts to keep myself engaged and my brain firing while I am away from any academic or nursing-related duties. I feel like somewhat of a ditz for questioning so many years who and what I wanted to be "when I grew up," only to realize after a large number of thousands of dollars, that I absolutely love the creative design world. It would be, without any doubt, an absolute dream of mine to work in the design industry in some capacity. For now, though, I dabble and do lots of admiring.
As well as dabbling and admiring, I've come to truly appreciate the community of other dabblers, admirers and incredibly talented artists here at ColourLovers. Wow. I'm amazed everyday by what I see! I love it.
