RAINY DAYS
I love it when it rains
The pitter patter on the roof
The smell of freshness in the air
The thunder that gives a little scare
The puddles on the ground
That brings the kids splashing from all around
Time to snuggle and reminisce about the times that we all miss.
Watching it fall from the sky
Emptying the clouds that are up so high
And there up above is a great gift from God
It sparkles it shines
Powerful colors
Red, yellow, purple, and blue
A rainbow so beautiful, so inspiring and true
That I know right then there is still goodness around
Goodness that the Lord has spread on the ground
