As a girl I arranged all of my clothes in "colorbetical" (rainbow) order. My favorite part of art college was manipulating Pantone chips in 2D design class. I've alway been drawn to contrast. It is the seed of energy. Highlighting contrasts with colors creates joy, like finding a toy in a cereal box. A lush green garden can hide deep aubergine in its shadows, and a rust colored mineral streak can be coaxed from a sea of grey granite. Showing these and more in my palettes is like sharing secrets with you all. Thanks for looking!
If any of them inspires you to make a pattern, or the colours to make a palette: tag it CLAD and post your creations here
Thank you to all the ColourLovers who participated to make my CLAD day truly special. I loved each and every creation you made for me. Here are a few of my favorites:
I love ColourLovers! But I am unable to quit my job and thank people full time... though I wouldn't mind it. So I'm telling you right now: THANK YOU!!! Each time someone loves or faves one of my creations it makes my day. It's like a little, unexpected and completely welcome hug. And although I may not be doing a very good job at thanking everyone, please know that I am very, very grateful. So here's a little pattern to say thanks (okay, it doesn't actually SAY thank you, so you have to pretend). Xoxo museshand
Oh, and some flowers too (because who doesn't like flowers?)
2012 is all about changes for me... Listening to my heart and feeding my soul. My entry for Color of the Year 2012 reflects this. What do you think?
100 followers! Wow - I'm amazed. Thank you so much. Here are a few patterns expressing my appreciation. They are based on dhzuehlke's (100th follower!) beautiful template field3:
Yay! Another week, another 25 followers. Thanks for keeping me going, guys. Lucky #50 is joeseven - thanks! Here's a really simple, classic pattern from his template Square.
I've only been on CL for 1 week and I just received my 25th follower! It might be a small milestone, but the joy it fills me with echoes perfectly how happy I am to be part of the the CL community. Thanks to everyone for all the love and all of your inspirational work!
In honor of my 25th follower, omentum here's a pattern from his template Retromode:
