thank you Singularity (I LOVE the name you chose for your account!) for unearthing (or should I say, extracting from space..) this old pattern of mine. I'm pleased that you see velvet in it because these are the exact shades of blue I see velvet and I love the thought that dark matter is made of it, why not, after all it's everywhere and yet we can't 'feel' it, so the comparison with a soft texture is not far-fetched after all!

Welcome here, and enjoy yourself (just don't suck in all the colours, or we'll be left with nothing to play with, lol!)
