which I combine, distort, duplicate, flip, rotate, etc. and layer. I should say that I have several years of practice, since I started making (terrible) templates in 2011. I have made on the average one or two a week since then, and gradually learned from my mistakes. I should also say that the software groups saved objects, and is also very buggy, that I ungroup my shapes as soon as possible by moving them up or down, delete the empty grouping folder, and reselect to arrange.
I have a tutorial thread in the forums, which is sadly out of date, but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer, and so likely would many of the other fantastic template makers who follow the replies.
