I have over 20 years of experience as an interior designer working on a diverse range of project types and sizes including workplace, retail, residential and food service. For the first 15 years of my career I worked with architectural firms creating office space from video conference centers to complete office buildings and corporate campuses. I also designed retail space for companies both boutique and national. During this time I also managed the design and construction of various small and large scale residential projects. I was responsible for the creation and coordination of my projects from inception through construction and worked closely with my design teams and the architect and construction teams to bring my projects to gratifying completion.
In 2003, I completed my first full service restaurant project. This was the beginning of many collaborations with small architectural firms specializing in food service projects. My background in the restaurant business contributes to my understanding of this highly designed and operationally driven architectural space. Since 2003, I have focused solely on food service and hospitality projects. In addition to project experience, I've achieved LEED accreditation and bring my expertise and passion for sustainability to my project teams.
A native of the Bay Area, I am a professional interior designer. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from San Jose State University, a NASAD accredited institution. I passed her Design Qualification exam in 1995 and became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2009.
