I figured I'd write this introduction about this misfit (Yes,..me) so that new people stumbling upon this profile could have a head start in figuring out exactly what it is that takes place in the sinuous labyrinth that I call a brain. Or, in less pretentious speak, "Hi. Here's me in a nutshell." My name is Courtney. It's my birth-given name, not some attempt at grandeur or sp00ky kid statement. I wasn't named after a famous movie star. But that doesn't mean I won't try to act like one on occasion, maybe halloween. lol.

Now about me... nothing interesting, but I'm hearing impaired. You could say I'm pretty lucky. Do I use sign language? Indeed. It's very important to me, and I have my individuality than most; so I don't need to be a poser because I have something special in me that I can always treasure. I wasn't into games til Gerry introduced me to mmo's.. so they officially rock. I like WoW, CoV, Spellborn & Wiz101 :) Mostly WoW these days! Let me know if you play any of them so we could do some jabs together, ha.

Important facts of the day: I take most things with a grain of salt. Exceptions to this are: my family & friends and my writings (though I'll often take jabs at the researches, I am actually quite serious about what I do. Even if it's not exactly a change-the-world endeavor, it means something to me). I'm often sarcastic. I have a strong narcissistic streak, which is, for the most part, intended satirically.

I can also be prone to extreme self-deprication and dramatic moments (a decent amount of the cancer personality comes into play here), though the further removed I am from my teenage years, the less this presents itself. While the end of the world may be here today, tomorrow will probably bring a return to fluff and noize. The rest can be left to the imagination. I hope this has been an entertaining educational experience.
