* I think your original background color (1st color above) is better
than the black of the boots -- that black would just dominate the site.
* For the board color, I'd draw the gray-green from the floor (2nd
color above). Both black and white type are readable on this color.
* For the forum, I'd take a paler version of the same gray green (3rd
color above) Black type only on this color.
* For the white separator bars between the forum topics, I think the white you
currently have works well (5th color above).
* Now you need a bright splash of color. Lara Croft's lipstick would be
nice -- except that it's really brown, not red. So I've reddened it
quite a bit (4th color above). You'd want to use it very sparingly --
on the "TOMB RAIDER: UNDERWORLD LOGO" and one or two other places.
