The Beatles has bridged the generation gap between us kids and our parents. John Lennon is an all-time favorite of mine; I like the way he turns melancholy into gold through his songs. :)

When I was just out of college, I had a job interview with Yoko Ono to be Sean Lennon's nanny. It was the year before John was murdered. What an exciting thing it was to visit the Dakota and sit in Yoko's lavish office. I didn't get the job, but, looking back, that may have been a blessing.
