but, I am able to incorporate some other artistic explorations I've done in the past together with the "squiggles" to create some interesting layering techniques that are too hard/challenging for me to do with my paintings. The digital medium gives me a freedom to be more experimental than I feel like I can be with the "hard" copy painting.
