1. Use the square shape to make a rectangle long enough to make a continuous line.
2. Place out other rectangles, shorter but the same width, along that line. Of course these little rectangles will be in different colours, but plan them so you don't kill the background pattern.. Shrink it to the width you want. (I saved this a s a shape)
3. Copy the line and move it horizontally and vertically as you like it, the smaller rectangles will create a pattern effect.
4. Make the background pattern you want - I've ony tried using two colours, but if Seamless Lite doesn't go nuts on me I might try just rotating the lines 90 degrees and using that.

Hope that was understandable! I loved this technique, it's like weaving :).

Ah, but it is :)! You see, I had a little moment of brilliance and thought up a technique that I could use to get many lines as thin as I liked. Interested?
