Thank you! I think the background is made of a stretched triangle that somehow started making this pattern as I stretched it and repeated it and layered it and rotated the layers. The color blend was completely accidental.

UPDATE: I take that back. I made lines in Illustrator and layered them in between layers of the stretched triangle. It made a unique pattern.
