Summer Slasher
Hidden behind the teak bark screen
a nightmare waits
...
from under-beyond
chill night iris
blue flag bog boy
whom sunlight faded
green
they
thought
drowned
deep
in
the
pool
...
returned, dropped
like the inkling black
rain suddenly piercing
the counselor's green tea
cup fell to floor, shattered
like scull, like teak bark
like his name felt
"blastered"
