...Did I tell you that it was pitch-black when we drove through Big Sur? The drive from Carmel to San Simeon was a new level of terror for K and I - afterwards we both admitted that we'd thought we were probably going to die. (...That's what we earned ourselves for waiting to take in the sunset at 17 Mile Drive, I guess.) If it wasn't for those fabulous raised reflective things they use on the roads in Cali, we never would have made it back alive.
So the 'water at the edge of all things' is a little darker in my head. I'll happily take your Tofino version instead!
