You know what would be interesting? If for the first 48hrs or so after a pattern is published there is no creator named for a pattern template. Then it would be interesting trying to guess who made what, even though some would probably be easy.
I think it would also help the more different stuff get discovered because people wouldn't necessarily be drawn towards patterns by people they recognise and are used to.
Just a random thought.....
