Marriage Covenant

Having been encouraged on numerous occasions by Dawn (American Women), I have decided to incorporate some of my stained glass designs into Seamless templates. This is my first attempt. All images and design concept are my own.

The Marriage Covenant

The original design that this was based upon is simply called "Covenant Fulfilled". It was a merging of the Star of David and the cross of Christ. However, before I was able to render the design in stained glass I learned that two friends from our former church in Pinehurst, NC, were getting married. I decided to add the two wedding rings and "Covenant Fulfilled" became "The Wedding Covenant"

The cross within the Star of David is to symbolize the fulfillment of God's promise to David that his kingdom would be established forever. Interlocking the rings with "Covenant Fulfilled" symbolizes the unbreakable covenant of Christian marriage.
