Description
Ema are small wooden plaques sold in Shinto shrines on which people write their prayers or wishes. The ema are usually hung together with other emas beneath sacred trees at the shrine. Emas are near the gods so they can read them and make your wish come true.
This ema includes the kanji character for "health" (at least that is what I was told it means) and is intended by me to be a wish for good health.
