Sorry to have been misleading with my comment; there is no way to directly effect opacity, unfortunately. In this case, the flowers appear more opaque because I duplicated and offset the largest petal layers, which covers more of the colour beneath. ...The lines in this pattern are so fine that they appear translucent (a funny word when talking in luminous pixels), but they're really not. :)
