Tangram Games

When the children have finished two pages in their maths textbooks, they get to take out the tangram puzzles. The Horse is a big favourite, the dragon another. Some kids will of course always prefer the easiest ones, like the triangle made from smaller triangles - your brain has a right to relax and chill after three pages of maths. But the mousey-haired girl by the window always picks the castle, which has the most pieces. She always spreads the pieces out on her desk and just plays with them. There's no attempt at building the castle, not from her, she just fills her desk with patterns and plays with shape and colour and she forgets time and place and has to be told twice that it's time for lunch.
