It was one of my very favourite books for a long time, and still ranks on my best of all times list! :)
And yes, that movie...
It's not just networks though that don't seem to be able to grasp the concept that animated does not automatically mean children's movie. A lot of people, including parents, at my library don't believe me when tell them that this anime or that movie is not for their 6 year old.
