Naming your own colors is a way to... sort of "capture" your favorite colors, and give them names that mean something special to you personally: Sometimes true to color (like "Chocolate in the Sun" or "Unicorn Milk") and sometimes poetic (like "Wild as the Wind"). And sometimes both! That's why I've named so many colors, and I think you'd get a kick out of it also.
