The Cauldron of Bronze or How The Bronze Age Began
At the end of the Golden Age

Heksia and her two sisters

cast a spell
On King Midas, ruler of the Golden Age.

The sisters, who lived in the dark forest at the end of the realm,


had become offended by the
brazen audacity of the Golden Princesses.

They sent a horde of their servant beasts

into the royal garden

to steal a golden apple from the King’s prized trees.

They melted the apple in a cauldron,


they spit on it and cursed the King.
The brew turned into molten bronze.

They laughed and sang, and they chanted, and the bubbling brew swirled up into the air,

and was carried away by the wind


and it rained molten bronze on the King’s realm.

And that was the start of the Age of Bronze...

And that was the end of the golden realm of King Midas and the Age of Gold.
