The images are intriguing and frightening after my last post. I see how the smog creates a bubble effect in the reflected night sky.

For most of my life I lived in New York and Hong Kong.
That's 2 cities with bright nights.

What strike me the most is that, these images show that the problem of bright nights is not confined to NY and HK.

It is now into remote areas, once considered inaccessible.

How color-loving these remote places are.

Ironically. At night.

That is when people deserve the privilege to watch the night sky.

Shades of grey, white, yellow, red. mostly.

I've seen that in airplanes. June 2010. Incredible.
The two America is always artificially glowing at night. everywhere.

Beautiful photo album of night skylines and from outer space.

Big mistake. These photos intend to portrait the negative aspects of light pollution.

Remember this is the NIGHT time, we deserve quiet night without too much lights.

A certain level of over-light in downtown of major cities (e.g. New York, Hong Kong) is acceptable.

But I can't imagine: It's all happening in the suburbs. All over the developed world. Also in developing world.

Incredible.
