They look like two cats caught in a headlight. LOL! Here's Tuggher in timeout:

Actually he went into hiding after getting his annuals at the vet.
My others are all gathered here: AOFN - Cats

Of course there's always this - Kayeti must think she's homeless cause she's always digging through my trashcan.

First you get the cat's attention, then you ignore them! My favorite way is to partly close a door on them. Curiosity seems to get the better of them!!!

You DO know how to catch a cat! When my Precious was only 6 weeks old, I would run from the living room into the kitchen and hid around the corner and she'd give chase. I'd peek my head out (she couldn't see me from her diminutive perspective), and when she got just a foot or so from me I'd stick my toes out and she'd jump straight up with both front paws in the air like she was being held up. I'd take off for the living room to hide around another corner and repeat the game all over. No matter how many times we'd play, she'd always do her little jump. That was 13 years ago, sadly she doesn't chase anymore.

Now my two Ragdoll kittens, they're just like you said. Kayeti follows me into the powder room all the time and slides underneath the vanity. When it's time to leave, she won't come out - until I close the door. This also works at night when it's bedtime. All cats are required by law - my law, to stay in the bedroom. It never fails that one or more will try to hide - or want me to chase them, so I gather up as many as I can and whoever's left behind gets shut out. By the time I'm through brushing my teeth they're outside the door, oftentimes meowing to get in.

Of course, a feather and bell on the end of a pole always works as does an empty box, basket or anything else that tempts them to climb, even if the box is waaaay too small. I have tons of photos of all our cats sleeping inside tiny little boxes Too funny!
