hahahahahahahaha !! i'm totally into them.
Ola, Jo and UPtimist. you' re awesome !!
I think the main perverts are behind the "wolf line" as the literal translation of a term here is... As a law student, I know that most of the weird cases in the courts come from there. You know, the parts in Finland very far from civilization, usually closer to the Russian border. But sure, I think especially the slight isolation we're in here has affected the mentality in such a way that some people are obsessed with foreigners :P

And Koskenkorva! I'm surprised anyone outside Finland knows about it :P I mean, it's probably the quintessential alcohol here, but I didn't know anyone else knew about it. You know, when people want to drink clear liquor (and usually if they want to be alcoholics), they drink that... Cheap, very strong (as I understand, not being a drinker I don't know about this so much). Koskenkorva is pretty much a concept here :P

And Lapin Kulta (Lapland's Gold), I'd guess the most common bear.

It says something about us (Finns) that someone who doesn't even drink alcohol (me) can talk so much about it :D

Well, you're not all perverts. But I'm pretty sure some of you are :P

And isn't Koskenkorva also Finnish? I like Koskenkorva. :D And the first beer I ever had in my life was a Lapin Kulta. I still have the cap in my wallet. :') Sweet nostalgia.

Sounds like I should be glad I don't quite feel like the typical Finnish man :P Seems we're perverts living in woods, talking naked to foreign girls...

As for local vodkas, we have Finlandia vodka, also quite well-known.

Hahaha! Yeah okay, so the Finnish guys I met weren't naked (thank God!)... They were just really drunk in a rock bar in Helsinki. And well, drunk guys can get a bit...clingy. I don't think that's unique to Finland. I was also pretty drunk though, so it was mostly fun.

Żubrówka! Polish and all the little lines over the letters :P But yeah, it's pretty strong alright. Nothing you drink straight from the bottle or down as a shot. That would probably have me knocked out in five seconds flat...

The Finnish guys which I met were real perverts! They were wandering around all naked after leaving sauna and talking something to me and my friends, but I don't remember what it was. We ran away so quickly :P.

Oh, Żubrówka! It's Polish! And quite strong. I remember I bought a set of bottles as a gift for my Italian friend and they are still unpacked, because it's way too much % for him ;d;

Finland has a lot of horny men! I too noticed this. I was under the impression that once they knew I was Swedish they'd leave me alone. But for some reason it was the other way around. I guess the rumors of Swedish girls being easy even reaches the Finnish forests... :/
And we have vodka in Sweden too! One of the most famous vodka brands in the world is Swedish. Absolut Vodka! It's the most sold spirit in the world, thank you very much. :P
Zubrowka is my fave vodka though. Or buffalo piss as it's called in Sweden... Such a lovely nickname...

I was there, too. I remember beautiful, wild forests, wide lakes and... one sauna near my hotel full of horny men, haha :D
Btw, I am not fan of vodka, so I prefer Sweden! But I'm pretty sure it's everywhere anyway...

I've been to Finland once. Drank way too much minttu the first night and couldn't brush my teeth properly for the rest of the trip because the peppermint taste really threw me off... Also...Finland's got a lot of forest.

Come to Finland, then - we've got both vodka and cider :P And so much more! (I feel so out of place here...)
