larry's lounge

eli@ has come up with just might be the perfect wallpaper for the next renovation at larry's to restore his lounge-owner pride. "Dang it", he was overheard muttering to a regular one evening between short raspy breaths over his sizeable beer paunch, "a man just don't feel right in his boots with all this frilly stuff around." Currently Larry and his girl are still a bit strapped for cash after the last renovation, despite getting the new wallpaper from the local remaindered bin - custom hasn't picked up much since the downturn - and we'll have to carefully consider Larry's health, too - he has had a slight breakdown as you can see from Dawn's telling of it! But I think there's a very good chance that this could bring back the peace at the lounge ... Thanks, eli@ !!!

"Maybe they should go with a more abstract decor?" It's true. Larry has never felt totally comfortable since the renovation, but he let his gal decide and you know women and florals! He'e been bangin' the drinks on the bar counter pretty hard these days. Maybe it'll do him good to flip out briefly. I'm sure he'll settle back down though. That's what he'll do, set himself down to the table after hours and have a couple of beers. He'll be alright. Don't worry.
