Will palettes run out of colors? Practically: Yes, Theoretically: No.
Practically, not all colors are pleasant; but theoretically, color systems can be defined arbitrarily--- leading to a very confusing truth over here: Less than 11% of possible colors from RGB systems were used amongst 680,000+ palettes available on this site.
