Few of my coincidences. Moments when brain says - w t f? XD ![]() Colors makes a wierd name play - {and none of them are my colors} Yellow Think.. Que? {translation-what?} Your Stop it NOW I kinda laughed :D ![]() Ya know what was stronger than faith there? ![]() and ![]() *Evil owns* I made palette for memories ![]() I never thought they would be about ![]() *randooom* ![]()

I' ve struck some gold :P In the description field I declared the color in the middle euphemistically as... the liquid. ![]() Then to my total surprise I found what that liquid really was! ![]() Creme caramel in my toilet? That would be a vista for sure! Today, as I opened my eyes... ![]() I found myself at the hospital. That's an eye-opener for sure! ![]() Here, in my Spring Daydream... ![]() under vivid imagination... ![]() the wind sings... ![]() and the trees dance! ![]() Here I named all colors to be thermally-related: Warm, Hot, Radiating, Cold Air. And there was still one more color, the coldest. ![]() What is colder than cold air? ![]() And apparently, this pathetic grandmother dresses in... ![]() gentleman blue?! Wow! ![]() ![]()

Wait, there's more! :) Ok, I know it's called "Sunny Ireland", but... ![]() seriously now, how sunny can it really get up there? ![]() Do kiwi plantations spread like wildfire in Ireland? :) ![]() I don't know, but it sure has a lot of mustard... ![]() ![]() Gerbert, nooo! Now look what you've done! ![]() I named colors as "Fever" "Bonding" "Ecstasy" "Exhaustion" only to find that all this heavy clubbing amounts to... ![]() ![]() With contents such as "Recycled Cabbage" "Rotten Orange" "Smelly Lemon", this serving of vintage food really needs a... ![]() ![]() Apparently, bear memories amount to 5 things: "Hibernation" "Honey" "My Fur" "Her Fur", and surprisingly enough, ![]() Must be an acquired taste. ![]() ![]() ![]() After all these cosmetics, she sure is! ![]() There are two things in life that can alter your vision: ![]() ![]() ![]() If you still don't get it :) ![]() ![]() All this ![]() can really get you ![]() ![]() And what is that makes them happy? Lots and lots of it. ![]() ![]() And they keep floating on and on until ![]() home, I guess. When they're done floating they go home. ![]() OK, that's a bit abstract. Now how about a real-life example? ![]() Close enough. The singularity is the state of matter inside a black hole. It eschews the laws of physics. A black hole has such a powerful gravity field that nothing which falls in can ever get out. ![]() Awesome! I found an artifact inside my singularity! An artifact! Dude, is that cliché or what? ![]() And this guy. Who's this guy? What's he doing here? ![]() And a... um... what's this? Is this thing on? ![]() My oh my, one could really find anything inside one of these singularities! ![]() And who actually has it? Maybe this guy. ![]() And, oh, of course, you too. Who are you? ![]() If you eat too much ![]() like an unmannered ![]() or a ![]() You might seriously damage your health ![]() or need to go to a ![]() and use the ![]() Or maybe it's a different story altogether. The ruffian and the lusty bird met in the darkroom. I don't know what they did there, but somebody got the duck flu. Now he really needs tissue paper. He should have contended with a more mainstream spicy experience, like sushi. ![]()

After reading on the blog about celebrating the 1 million palettes I wondered how all these colors would look averaged. I got a warm gray. Philosophically disappointed that all this work amounts to gray, I concluded that sometimes "the truth is in the middle" does not apply, and simply averaging the extremes leads nowhere. As I tried to add the color, I found it was already named! And very appropriately so. ![]() Now not only the results were disappointing, but i couldn't even claim the color as mine! This was really going nowhere... I made a palette to celebrate my findings, a palette I named ![]() to illustrate that the correct approach is to be found the other way. I made a gradient from the initial gray to a vibrant color I chose from my faves. But in the end, the colors names happened to appropriately illustrate the travel, from ![]() to trying to (named by me)taking time to note your findings along the way into a ![]() then getting (named by me)you can eventually say ![]() (That was the big surprise, as I was unaware of this color's name when I chose it) ![]() ![]() ![]() GreenMyEy… GreenMyEyes wrote: 1 week ago
@edgepixel, I laughed so hard at your comments that I fell off my chair (um, exaggeration for effect) ![]() ![]() ![]() Trixxie Trixxie wrote: 1 week ago
![]() This was a word link I did - when doing a word link the first color is already picked for you and you have to work beginning with that one. My coincidence here is that the previous night I had just had a really tough lesson on some new software. Meaning the software was complex and the teacher was tough. When I finished my wordlink and read it, it immediately brought to mind what I had experienced. I just didn't realize it while making the palette. Sometimes they are coincidences, or are they just really in our minds hiding. In my case, I'm thinking it was in my mind. ![]()
