With harmony, you can play with colors as you will see on the Wedding website. It starts from the teaberry pink, blending into a soft mint Caledon and peppered by mauve. Finish it with the perfect touch of periwinkle for that grand intimate spring garden wedding.

This trendy color palette is soft on the eyes and has an air of cheerfulness around it. What else do you need in the spring?

These realm of colors are very harmonious and playing with colors is refreshing.

  1. Blithe

The summer is hot, you should go hotter, with some shades of cool. That's the strength of blithe which is a combination of blush, navy, champagne, and sea mist.

Use and play with these colors across save the date, wedding invitations, wedding websites, and program. It's also a sight to behold when pink merges with sizzling navy for a romantic lockdown!

Blithe is elegant, soft, and comes in neutral hues that makes it the perfect definition for summer. This is in plain words, chic meets dazzle. Whether it's a barn wedding, garden or something simple; blithe matches down to the decor.

wedding colors

  1. Orchard

With lots of greenery, blooms, and beauty; orchard is ideal for fall. We get to see green willow, spun sugar, Merlot, and ivory. They bring on the smell of the holidays and celebration ahead.

While Merlot combines with the green willow to give some unforgettable hotness. Spun sugar and ivory brings on a background coolness. These combine to form a stunning fall color palette that works for decors, cakes, and wedding stationeries.

This palette trending wedding color is rich, urban, romantic, and downright organic. This is your best bet for everything cozy and natural in the autumn. It also flies the banner for vintage-inspired weddings.

wedding colors

  1. Surf

Contemplating a beach themed wedding? Think surf which combines teal, ivory, mint, and sage. Surf merges the ambiance of the seaside with the beauty of nature. This is an outstanding palette in neutral hues and jewel tones.

Teal brings the wow vibe to the palette with its bold and dominating nature. To achieve the mimicry of sea waves, light it up with jewel-toned ivory and greens. You will end up with something minimal, chic, elegant, and trendy.

Spare no inch for sophistication, modern, and unique in your surf for the summer. The skies are blue, seas are raging, and there's the happy couple caught up in all that beauty.

wedding colors

  1. Organic

Weather-beaten doors, driftwood, lace, and floral accents, organic colors say vintage and rustic. And for every season, this trending wedding colors combination is picture perfect.

Champagne, Slate, and Custom Sage when combined are timeless and evergreen. The champagne color is one that will always be in trend because it's a masterpiece. It leads the organic color palette and together, they have a natural take to bohemian wedding style. Same as a country, woodsy, and wispy themes.

The custom sage and slate represent muted tones that maintain the natural strength of organic colors. And they work well with accents for centerpieces and wedding stationeries. A glance at your material and guests will tell for sure, that you're having a vintage-inspired wedding.

wedding colors

  1. Low-key

A minimalist couple getting married in the fall can go with the low-key vibe. Ivy Green, Peach, Butter Pecan, Stone Blue all combine to give a warm autumn feeling. These organize hues are pure earth, signifying the color of blooms.

They are very down to earth and blend in such embracing way that you will love. Peach I'd subtle and blends in the backdrop with other low-key colors. The stony blue arrives with so much boldness and gives the palette a punch.

This royal palette works across invitations, programs, and wedding websites if consistent. Keep your decor shabby and chic, with a statement piece to make a presence and give attention to the palette.

  1. Peachy

Are you a romantic at heart, with a loved up wedding theme? Get ready for the spring outdoors, pops of colors and cute blooms. This palette parades bright natural tones. Popping different colors that shame exotics floral arrangements. This is an ethereal arrangement inspired by lush greenery and blooms of spring.

For a chic look, mix the different shades of coral, then bring on the romantic peach for some airy goodness. For the outdoor settings, work your way with marigold and tropic. They bring enough brightness and sunshine to the chill of the springtime.

This color palette is pure romance and elegance.

  1. Fireside

Spice, jewels and nature! That's what fireside is all about. A meeting of nutmeg, ginger, steel, ivory and green willow. This is the perfect natural combo for the Boho and wanderlust wedding theme.

The muted ivory tone and natural greens create a soothing and attractive ambiance. While ginger and nutmeg live up to their names, by bringing on the spice and hotness. Together, these outstanding colors create the magical autumn feel in the outdoors.

Run these colors across your decor, floral arrangements, place cards, table runners, and candle holders. Leave a touch of spice and nature on your wedding stationery and match them with your website. Don't forget to extend the spice to your desserts!

  1. Frozen

Do you fancy the idea of starting winter, nautical or Disney themed wedding? Then go along with the frozen color palette. A blend of navy, ivory, gold, and green. This is a classic combination of land and water.

Navy is classic and timeless and merges with green to stamp nature's identity. Ivory and gold are two muted tones that work on the accents and decor. Navy together with other colors on this palette is the epitome of grace, elegance, and sophistication.

Incorporate this in your decor, wedding. Are and stationery for the perfect wedding theme.

  1. Spice

With the bone-chilling winter in view, turn up with a rustic inspired wedding with spice colors. Spice is a palette of neutral hues made up of ashwood, burgundy, sage, and ivory. The deep brown rich burgundy is the fire to the winter ice and leads the spicy palette.

Together with other colors, you can either go all out or water down the palette. At every turn, these colors being a romantic, warm and outdoorsy feel. But in truth, this is one palette quite challenging to incorporate.

So play it safe by running a color like burgundy across save the date and other stationery. Then bring in ashwood and sage across your decor, florals, and confetti. With your wedding favors, the neutral palette blends in a seamless fashion.

Harmony, spice, and surf are some of the few trending wedding colors. See this post for more, and have a colorful wedding.

We are sure that a lot of you came here to get to know these cities better, so, here is our list of the most famous US cities and which of their sights and destinations should you visit.

New York - the city of great opportunities

New York is the unofficial capital of the United States. The city is one of the largest in the world, as well as the economic and cultural center of the United States. The city is made up of five districts: Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Manhattan, where the main attractions are located at. About 50 million tourists come to New York each year. Rest here is expensive, but it is interesting. The average cost of hotel accommodation per day is about $ 300, but if you prepare for the trip in advance, you can find cheap guesthouses for $150-200 per day. Tasty and cheap food in New York is hard to find, but mobile kiosks with food are in great demand among travelers. In general, hot dogs, fast foods and Coca-Cola are the main companions of the average tourist. Much more interesting is the case with local attractions: Broadway theaters, the Metropolitan Museum, famous Times Square, Central Park (the most visited park in the US) and, of course, the Statue of Liberty. In addition, New York is a paradise for everyone who enjoys fashion trends, here, on the Fifth Avenue, there is a huge number of brand boutiques, and the whole world has heard about their Christmas and summer sales. So, everyone should visit this metropolis at least once in their lives; there is no other city in the world like New York.

Los Angeles - the city of entertainment

Los Angeles is a major global entertainment center. The city is relatively young, so there are no world-famous architectural monuments there, but it has a well-developed film industry, and it is quite easy to meet celebrities on the beaches of Los Angeles. Millions of tourists come to Los Angeles to see the "happiest place on earth" for themselves, that being Disneyland, as well as enjoy the beaches of Malibu and Long Beach under the light breeze of the ocean and visit the main attraction of the city - Universal Studios. There are always many tourists here because everyone wants to see firsthand how cool Hollywood action films are. There is yet another mandatory tourist destination: it is a visit to the famous "Walk of Fame," located on Hollywood Boulevard. Tourists always visit Beverly Hills, where many movie stars live. Be sure to visit the main street of the city - Sunset Boulevard, where the old Warner Brothers Studio and the Sunset Strip are located, it is here that you can taste all the beauty of Los Angeles’ nightlife.

Beverly Hills – the city of wealth

The California city of Beverly Hills is familiar to many thanks to the legendary series called "Beverly Hills". It was there that they glorified the golden youth and the luxurious life in Beverly. If you walk through the streets of Beverly Hills, you will see a lot of interesting things. The houses are cozy, the people are carefree, and the cars are expensive. And although it is said that the wealth of Beverly is rather far-fetched and exaggerated by the media, it isn’t a rare thing to see convertible S-class Mercedes cars riding the streets of Beverly Hills. Surprisingly, people here are good-natured, they do not hide their houses behind a high fence, and their yards are always green and well-groomed. For those who want to enjoy shopping, be sure to visit Rodeo Drive - here you can find boutiques of world-famous brands and expensive restaurants where you can taste the delights of the local cuisine.

Miami - the city of beaches

When we talk about Miami, we mean Miami Beach - one of the most prestigious resorts in the world. Here are the mansions of the richest people in the world, world stars, and financial magnates. This is a small paradise on earth with white beaches, a total length of which is 16 kilometers, with huge palm trees lined up right by the ocean. Holidays in Miami is luxurious: everything works for your comfort. Along the beach, you can find a hotel for every taste and budget. Nightlife on the island is in full swing - there are numerous nightclubs, bars, and other entertainment venues. Due to the fact that people come to Miami mainly for new sensations and acquaintances, the beaches are practically free until lunchtime. Bright and friendly atmosphere reigns in the city all year round, so those who are tired of noise should definitely come here. Life in Miami is an endless holiday; it makes the city a great alternative to business-oriented New York.

San Francisco – the city of freedom

The city is named in honor of the Catholic St. Francis of Assisi. The standard of living in San Francisco is high, and housing is expensive. Even in poor neighborhoods, the standard of living has improved significantly. The economy of San Francisco is based on tourism: the city is the fifth largest in the United States in terms of the number of foreign visitors and is among the top ten cities in the world, and just a hundred years ago, it was almost completely destroyed by an earthquake. San Francisco is very multifaceted, here on the streets you can meet the poor, hippies and sex minorities, who make up about 15% of the city’s population. Among the main attractions are the famous hills (there are more than 50 of them in San Francisco), Chinatown with its exotic shops and the Golden Gate Park, which is even larger than Central Park in New York.

Washington – the main city

Washington is the capital of the United States; it is not part of any state and was named in honor of George Washington, the first American president. Here are all the US federal authorities. It is said that this city is not at all like the American megacities. Perhaps this is due to the fact that its construction in the distant 1790 was occupied by French architect Pierre Charles L’Enfant. The main attraction for every tourist is, of course, the White House. However, it is almost impossible to get there with an excursion, unless, if the President himself invites you. There are practically no skyscrapers in Washington. But there are many historical, cultural and museum monuments (the Capitol, the White House, the Aerospace Museum, the Lincoln, Jefferson and Roosevelt memorials) located relatively close to each other and they are absolutely free to visit, which is undoubtedly a plus. Well, and, of course, there is a Chinatown in Washington. Compared with the similar one in San Francisco, they say, it is very boring and monotonous, but it is very easy to fill your stomach there. If you are planning a trip to Washington, do not forget about the high crime rate. When going for a walk, leave all the valuables in a hotel.

Chicago – the city of skyscrapers

Chicago is the third most populated city of the US (after New York and Los Angeles) and is referred to as the “Big Chicago”. It is the largest economic and political center of the world. Chicago is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. The city is famous for a huge number of skyscrapers: five of the ten tallest buildings in the USA are located here. And its Sears Tower skyscraper exceeded the famous twin towers in New York by its height. On the 103rd floor (there are 110 of them), there is a glass observation deck with an amazing view of the panorama of the city. Tourists come here to admire the legendary Water Tower, built in 1867; it is the only one that survived the fire in 1871. It still provides water to almost 400 thousand people in the northern part of the city. The beaches, stretching near Lake Michigan. The attention of tourists is attracted by all of the picturesque parks that are located along the business districts.

Houston - the city of cowboys

Houston is the largest city in the state of Texas. According to the results of numerous studies, it was included in the rating of the most convenient cities for living in the world. Houston is a multicultural city, many Mexicans live here (due to the proximity to the south of the border with Mexico) and Asians. First of all, for tourists, this city is interesting mainly for its world-famous Rodeo festival. About 2 million tourists visit the wild bull race every year. This sport is very dangerous, but the earnings of the most courageous and famous cowboys sometimes reach 100 thousand dollars. True, most of this money is often spent on hospital checks after the races. Houston is famous not only for its Rodeo - every year the city hosts the largest gay night festival, as well as a parade of art cars. For those who prefer a more relaxing holiday, we recommend visiting the Texas shopping center, Houston Zoo or water park.

How to Plan a Fairy Tale Wedding

fairy tale wedding

Once Upon A Time…

A little girl dreams of meeting prince charming, being whisked away on a white horse (or unicorn), and having the perfect fairy tale wedding. As she grows older, the reality of adult life can make her more cynical about these golden fantasies. Fortunately, with careful consideration, a healthy dose of planning, and a sprinkle of fairy dust, the bride-to-be can still have the fairy tale wedding that she deserves…

What Does Magic Mean to You?

When we think of fairy tale weddings, perhaps the first image that comes to mind is of a Disney prince and princess being wed in a grandiose castle. That’s all well and good; however, people of royalty aren’t the only characters in Disney films to get married. Consider Robin Hood & Maid Marian in Robin Hood, Carl & Ellie in Up, Mulan & Shang in Mulan, or even Pongo & Perdita in One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The point is: you don’t need to come from a royal family, or possess kingly amounts of wealth, to have a fairy tale wedding.

The concept of a fairy tale wedding was introduced to the world by Disney films, where we also find talking furniture, singing animals, and impromptu musicals. This concept has since gone on to make crazy amounts of money for the wedding industry. So, you have to ask, what does it mean to you to have a fairy tale wedding?

It’s not so much the surface level things that make your big day magical; its how you feel about everything that’s important, which is determined by the people who help you celebrate this momentous occasion, and the vibe you create, whatever your budget is. Forget about what someone else’s vision of a fairy tale wedding is – what’s yours? What would make your day magical?

Identify what would truly make for a fulfilling wedding, and then you can plan your perfect day accordingly, whether that’s with white horses and a multi-tiered cake in a castle, or a disco and a BBQ in your back garden.

Castles in the Sky

Not everyone can afford to hire a castle or a palace to get married in. However, there are plenty of more affordable venues, like stately homes, hotels, or ballrooms that can just as powerfully evoke your inner princess. Ballrooms tend to possess impressive architecture, complete with chandeliers and beautiful curtains.

Then there’s the option of foregoing buildings altogether; how about getting married in a forest? Outdoor weddings can be a beautiful alternative, and tying the knot in a natural landscape full of trees creates a different kind of fairy tale magic. This can be coupled with large marquees for the wedding reception and portable food stalls for the catering to create a unique and memorable alfresco wedding experience.

You can also save money by booking cheap or free venues for your wedding reception, such as having it at the house of a relative or close friend, in a local park, or on the beach.

An Invitation to the Magic

With personalised wedding invitations you can ensure the magic begins long before your guests reach the venue. Entice guests into your fairy tale fantasy with a beautiful design that reflects your unique style and gives them an insight into the kind of vibe to expect on the day. Just imagine how delighted you’d be to receive such a lovely invitation delivered through your letterbox.

Sprinkle a Little Magic

Wherever the ceremony is held, it’s the small details that can transform your normal wedding venue into a fairy tale-come-true, as if by magic. Using inexpensive fabrics as drapery is a beautiful way to decorate your venue, and can be used to cover tables, walls, and any other surface that feels too bare. The use of ribbons is another great way to add a visual touch of class.

The lighting is also important. Having the place decorated in fairy lights looks beautiful and doesn’t cost much. When night falls, using candles in candelabras is a classier alternative to electronic lighting and creates a more romantic atmosphere. Then you have the centrepieces on the tables, which can be elaborate and beautiful without breaking the bank.

Fairy Tale Flowers

Of course, flower arrangements are an absolute must, and add a touch of natural magic to any room. Typical fairy tale flowers are roses, peonies or hydrangeas, which can be arranged in colourful bouquets. Alternatively, using just one kind and colour of flower can be visually striking, and white flowers in particular evoke a sense of purity and magic. Using trees to adorn the aisle adds a sense of the fantastical as the bride walks among them on her way to tie the knot.

Dressed for the Part

No fairy tale wedding would be complete without the dress. What constitutes a magical look will of course differ between each bride-to-be. It could be an incredibly sparkly and attention-grabbing affair, along with velvet gloves and loud jewellery, or something much more understated, perhaps adorned with a tiara and a choker. It all depends on your tastes.

Once the bride’s outfit has been meticulously designed, then all the royal subjects need to look the part too. The outfits of your bridesmaids and pageboys all deserve careful consideration, and the style of their clothing should complement the style of the overall event.

Here Comes the Bride

One of the most important parts of the whole day that should be injected with fairy tale magic is the bride’s entrance. There are many ways you can make it stand out; the use of dramatic music, or even better, live music, can make this special moment all the more emotional, as well as having bridesmaids scatter rose petals around the bride as she enters.

And They Lived Happily Ever After…

A fairy tale wedding may seem like something that’s exclusive to your most cherished dreams, but with planning and action, you can turn those dreams a beautiful reality.

Winter Wedding Colors We’re Looking For

Trends in the wedding industry tend to change often and when you’re getting married, the time of year will most likely reflect the season and the color of that season. It’s very important to create an atmosphere that adds personality and style to your winter wedding and using color is the perfect way to do this. It’s not always just as simple as saying you’ll use one of two colors you like, there are hundreds out there that may look better than others, especially when the snow is falling and your cold outside. Darker colors are what we would recommend in general if you’re having a winter wedding, this goes for bridesmaid dresses and everything else. You’ll find that people tend to wear darker colors as it’s colder and duller in the winter season, this doesn’t mean to say your day is dark and gloomy though, the colors simply add to the beauty of the day.

Rich Purple

Coat your wedding day in the majestic color of rich purple, it’s so complimentary for different figures, but it also makes a beautiful tie and groomsman color too. You can decorate your tables and ceremony in this purple color too add a little royalty to the day. The richness of the dark purple color is sure to add some mystery to your day, but it works well even if the weather outside is frightful. It’s the perfect complimentary base color to accent colors like grey and white and will be a perfect match with wedding dresses. Perhaps also add pale lilac for a softer scheme for your wedding day.

Muted Berry

Contrast a dark ivy with the winterberry colors, and you could have yourself the best and most beautiful winter wedding there is. Berry colors are ideal in the fall months, but when it comes to winter, people forget they even exist. Yet, if you’re willing to put them with some metallic colors such as champagne or ivy, you could have yourself a wedding you’ll never forget. This is even better for winter weddings taking place near Christmas as berry colors are all the trend around this time. The muted berry scheme contrasts well with the accent metallic colors to create a playful delicacy many brides only ever dream of. Plus, muted berries always look amazing for mother of the bride dresses!

Frosted Pastel Gray

While we often associate pastel colors with summer colors such as blush pink and peach, these colors work well with a winter feel too. Make your wedding the ultimate wintery vibe by adding duskier colors such as purple or gray to make it everything you’ve ever wanted. Pastel gray colors are perfect for the frosty days where the snow is falling meaning even if your bridesmaids wear this style and you use it as your base color it will work. Add accent colors such as soft pinks and darker grays to add even more dimension to your wedding day. However, make sure you add some brighter colors in certain places as it can seem dull if you use dark colors everywhere. We would recommend possibly a purple or pink color to add a little light into your big day.

9 Colorful Wedding Websites

These days part of your wedding planning absolutely needs to include the construction of a wedding website. A wedding website is the key element that helps your guests know important wedding updates, where to go for the reception, and it's even a place that can help you keep track of your RSVPs.

I scoured the web to find you inspirational examples of colorful wedding websites for your enjoyment that do a great job of telling guests about the bride and groom as well as providing them with all the important info they need for the big day. Check out the sites I found below:

Matthew and Lauren's website was color themed! Woo hoo! The CMYK theme was totally cool, and their wedding website matched the theme perfectly. Their website includes a guest book, information about the wedding, the registry, and more. It's a fun and colorful site designed entirely by the bride and groom.
