This year I did something that I never normally do - get up stupendously early during my holidays to take a snap of the sunrise. The aim of the exercise was to combine the beauty of the morning colours with an ND110 long exposure. It makes for a rather difficult image to deal with because the dynamic range between the highlights of the sun coming up and the lows in the rocks etc is just too big for a camera to deal with.
