Kentucky Route Zero has convinced me that I was right: this is a very important thing to keep in mind when creating... pretty much anything(???)
It may be considered somewhat of a pseudoscience, butif the four-eyed goats can make someone cry, it's worth it.
I guess what I'm trying to say is this: don't ignore the power of aesthetics and emotional effect! And all that other stuff that's hard to describe. That matters, too.
