Wow, thanks =D that's strange because I am definitely feeling that in this palette. I feel the same for my palette, but it just doesn't satisfy me. I don't like the perspective and that slope-y feeling I get from comparing the third colour to the second. But thanks again, I'm glad you like it.

I'm not sure if there's a term though. It would be awesome to coin one, it's an interesting effect! That's compelled me to search for it now, thanks =D

I think I see what you're getting at, art -- but as a really big fan of the Rocket Ship, I have to submit that it's pure genius, no matter how you slice it! For me, the third colour ('nugatory') hovers like a third layer in the palette. Whereas I don't get quite the same feeling of floating from 'Wanalee' in Sphera.
