An ad blocker is good, but I would have some kind of virus protection too. As well as some form of tracker protection. I use all of this including a vpn. The link in question, I believe is in the ad script that's being used. An ad is being used to try to hijack browsers to get critical info from users. This is standard now. Never trust ad links.

I would run a virus scan. Some ads don't even have to be clicked. When they cycle up the script runs on it's on and tries to take your browser to the link. They exploit any weaknesses. Make sure your up to date on everything you can so there's nothing to exploit.
